Caravan towball weight all 4 wheels?

Post by Tweety » Sat Feb 18, 2012 5:22 pm

This is clever if you like caravanning and want to share the weight on all of your Subie 4 wheels.

LOL,
Fith Wheelers are ment to be good.
Don't think I would want that system though.
Still Funny, Love how he says reduced drag, when actually there would be a hell of a lot of drag.
Above the beetle and to the sides as it is too narrow.
The best thing is the 360 Degrees part, Modern Fith Wheelers can't do that.
Someone should try it with a Subaru 360!!!

Cheers Cam

A few years ago I purchased a t@B caravan. A large teardrop unit. was too heavy and large for my trike so sold it and made a profit as they discontinued them.

Anyway I was thinking about how I could tow it with the trike. This was an option. (Without the roof) a large roll cage with a tow ball up top. Too radical for this radical guy.

Actually a tow ball on a secure Brumby roll bar would work. As would a tow ball on a dune buggy roll cage.
