any info on what fuel pumps from other model subarus will fit a gen1 ej22 fwd liberty?
desperate for an answer.
does anyone have something spare that can help me out?

I can offer you a working Gen1 fuel pump to test
I can also test the existing pump whilst it's still in the vehicle

how do you test it in the vehicle? pop a fuel hose off haha?

hey hey hey alex! lol where did you get that 98octance something and that cleaner? im not really knowledgeable yet in using fuel pressure gauge and i dont have that kind of stuff in my garage. i dont wanna buy a new fuel pump i just research on the price and its not funny to be new one.Alex wrote:how do you test it in the vehicle? pop a fuel hose off haha?

That cleaner is called Upper Cylinder Cleaner and it's available from Subaru for about $15 a can (or cheaper if you sweet talk Andy aka FROG)
Fuel pumps are available from most aftermarket places for around the $100 mark.
