Cant help thinking of the number that could be sold as a kit if remade complete with matching carbie? Worldwide sales for owners especially if output testing figures were released proving an increase in power/torque.:-D

Yeah you need an adaptor plate, but as a wise young man once said... Mud king, I wouldn't mind a set.
What are the options for intake manifolds? You dont here much about them, only outtake exhaust manifolds. So what can i do to make my engine better in the way of intake manifolds? (more POWER!!!, economy, just better you know what i mean)

Cheers Cam

Engineering certificate with EJ conversion bits in a box would sell better

past the carby there isnt much you can do. Custom manifolds are done for the plane guys bigger runners (more air yada yada) remove the pree-heaters to get a colder air charge.

ok bit of a bump

carbies and sizes
whats the original size of the standard single carby?
how big have people gone?
and sources? cars that have carbies that are about the right size

TURBOS
something i've tried to steer clear of just a little so far.
what sizes came out? all one size or did they update and upsize every so often.

Mine wears a stainless almost equal length header with a Garrett ball bearing turbo on it .
My choice of simpler things would be a VF11 off an early American spec EJ20 because all the wheels and housings are sized about right to suit an EA82s breathing passages and power range .

Cheers A .

think that may have been me :D - definitely a fan of the smaller diameter hole in the turbo mounting plate of the exhaust crossover pipe , 35 or 36mm is my pref over up to 42 ? mm.

Smaller spools up the std EA82s turbo earlier making use of torque at lower revs, whereas the larger diameter feels less torque down lower but then just becomes a rocket spinning much more freely to the 6500 redline. Shame I cannot just dial in the size to suit the mood :D
