New ea 82 t piston kits?

Post by SCOOBIDOO » Wed May 17, 2006 8:03 pm

does anyone here know the availability of ea82t kits or a croos over piston which comes close?
there are probably numerous ways to comes about replacement slugs for ea82t....

1/maybe have stock pistons..which are 160$ / set cnc routed on the crown to reduced compression.....
2/ find a piston with a slightly higher pin height ,this would lower the piston and reduce compression also, if need be the skirt could be skimmed to clear the crank...where only talking 100thou (2.5mm) lower in the bore, this would bring your comp down enough at a guess....
any input guys?

$1050 will by a set of forgies :D

not enough crown material to machine out the top and still retain enough strength to have boost.

You'll get a set of ACL's to suit no worries though I'd imagine...
