RS 30 Liberty - such a thing?

Saw a Liberty of about ten years old with RS30 badge on the rear. Did they make 3.0 litre RS Libs?

There was a 3rd gen Legacy RS30, which was basically a Heritage (full options luxury) spec sedan with the EZ30 engine and 4sp auto transmission. It was only available in Japan and NZ
