I'm keen to convert mine...just need an engine & someone to wire it up. And some spare time to do it. And motivation.

If that bloody car keeps ticking so loud that may be just enough motivation to get things moving.
Cheers,
Andrew

That's pretty good! Mine are closer :???: A three core radiator will do that  I still think that the 3 core is too big for the EJ, I'd love to try out an all copper/brass single core radiator that's setup for the EJ if I had the money... always the way!

I can get you a pic of my setup if you like...

Cheers

Custom sounds expensive, i'm starting to think the l-series is better than women at draining my bank account. If you don't mind me asking how much did the rad cost you? It would be nice to go custom and for it to bolt up but at the moment i'm thinking a bit of cutting and welding to fit the lib rad is my best option.

The 3 core cost me $450, an extra hundred on a standard replacement so I threw the extra in to get the larger radiator... I wanted all copper/brass so there were no dodgy plastic end tanks to bother with again :D

so she's 95% complete now.. engine runs on 2 cyclinders not 100% sure why but once we get the temp gauges etc wired up its off to my mates for injector service etc to hopefully sort it out.. got the new lib radiator in aftermarket fans and changed a few things that needed doing get some missing various pipe work tomorrow hopefully then shes pretty much complete.

Sounds good mate!

Are you sure it's injectors that is the issue with the 2 cylinders that are down??

Yeah not exactly sure. Changed the spark plugs today, and we have spark. Also when we pull the injector plugs off it makes no difference to how it runs at all, both of the injectors are pulsing aswell.

Have to check the compression tomorrow, fingers and toes crossed we get good numbers.

Any other ideas about what it could be?

That difference won't mean much in performance. Have you played with the cam belt at all? If so did you line up the little indent mark on the outer part of the cam gear rather than the arrow on one side?

That's good new mate, and also means an easy fix! You're going to love it once you've got all the balls of the EJ22 on tap

Yeah first off-roading with the ej22 ended with this......

Image

We had gone through a similar puddle to the right and it was reasonably shallow so didnt bother checking the next one, and turns out there was a massive ditch in the middle of that one haha all good though the interior is soaked but thankfully it wasn't deep enough to get water in the intake
