I don't know exactly how much they weigh but I do know it's too farkin heavy !! Try lifting one in and out of the back of a station wagon :-(

If you are organising to send this over east with e-go you don't need a pallet. I recently sent a Mazda 5 speed - just wrapped it in a big plastic bag and off she went. Plus e-go never check the dimensions and weight that you put on the booking form when you drop it off. As long as it is in the ballpark you should be right.

Can anyone give me an estimate of what a gen3 auto outback gearbox with no oil weight? and also we will be adding the weight of the pallet as it would be safer when in transport.

Thx

Yes yes and yes.

Lifted it with a forklift - well we lifted it on to the forks and then they took it away. Got delivered OK and I have sent and received heaps with e-go and none of it has ever been damaged.

Better off building a " wooden surround " to send gearbox
Budget for up to fifty kilo with box and crate - big guesstimate !!!
