it ticks. And it doesnt go away. Any ideas people? Apart from that it just needs a clean, been in a shed for a while. Would have bought it straight away if it wasnt for the tick. Airbags all go up n down well, with no leaks

how long has it been sitting for? the hydraulic lash adjusters may have bled out if it has been sitting for a long time. they might just need to fill up with oil again

I know for a fact the motor I bought ticked like crazy when I looked at it as it hadn't been started in at least 2 months. I used a bottle of nulon lifter free at the oil change following the instructions on the bottle eg. add contents to engine oil before oil change let engine idle until hot do not rev engine excessively drain oil after time specified on bottle or how ever it went. then new oil run for 5000 KM and changer oil and filter.

I would take the chance on the engine especially if you can get the car cheap :)

About average price for that model. I'd say it just needs a good service.
