Where dose this pipe go

Post by yarney » Sat May 21, 2011 4:45 pm

The engine is a 99 gt forester i have taken off the turbo. The pipe in pic1 doesn't connect to anything atm.
In pic2 this is where it goes in the block

In pic3 there is a male piece under the throttle body intake in pic2 you can just see it directly under the intake red arrow dose the pipe connect to it? I cant see that close to see what it is (even with glasses on) there is nothing in the manual about it
The pipe looks like it hasn't been on for quite a while it is very hard
I will replace it
Sorry about the pics (phone camera)

Jan

Jan not a problem I know it is hard to see in the photos but where the crankcase breather comes out of the block, there is a "T" in the pipe and a smaller pipe heads into the aircleaner from there. As you can see in the photos the breather then goes into the PCV valve.
