What is confusing is that the cable pulls, but this is not a pull-type clutch system. The push or pull word describes what goes on inside the bellhousing not outside.
My mistake in my original description - I wasn't considering the very late model turbos from ugly betty on. Some of those hydraulic systems are infact push clutches.
Oh.. sorry.. I read it what Tom wrote as if it works like a cable system then it's a PULL type

but like you say Andrew.. It's what happens inside the bellhousing but I think we're getting off the thread topic now.
