Brumby Pedal Box
Brumby Pedal Box
I know it's a long shot but if anyone in Perth has a pre-reinforced pedal box they want to get rid of before a pay someone to weld mine up for the second time, I'll be happy to part with beer/cash for it.

I am in the same position but I am in brissy. Is this a relatively common issue? I have only had the car for under 6 months and after plenty of mucking around with clutch and cable realised mine needed to be welded up...has anyone thought up a good solution for this?
Ps sorry for the hijack smiles, thought someone might have a solution for the both of us

Yep.. it's a pretty commen problem. I would suggest you buy some 3mm flat plate, about 150mm square but it will need cutting to shape. I also recommend you buy an L.Series clutch cable and make the 2 go together. I have done this a few times in the past but unfortunately didn't take any pictures
The reason for the L.Series clutch cable is because it is longer it doesn't try and side load the pedal box when the pedal is pressed down. But this is also a good start to fitting a 5 speed in your Brumby

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
