The last time I went to whitehill the only real 4wding spots I found were some dunes near the beach but don't know how legal it is to be on there? The beach is kinda fun to drive on I guess.
I'm guessing this is gonna be mainly fishing so I'm packin the Ice box and all me gear.

I'm keen to leave at 9am from Perth and that would make a (approximate) 10am meeting time in Mandurah but I'm flexible but don't what to leave it too late if it starts getting hot :(

theres nothing to it mate at this beach.

come down

if ur still worried, go down in one of the groups.

if in the extremely unlikely event u get stuck, or worse stuck 50 metres out to sea, i have a big winch and a total of 60 metres winching capacity :D (but u wont get stuck in the water, and plenty of ppl to help if u have a bit of trouble..haha)

Yeah Rob.. you have no need to worry mate, this is a really easy beach. I'm just stirring up the boys in their big show (I'm thinking of your tyres here Alex  ) off 4WDs.. you'll be find and heaps of people makes it fun on the beach.

Yeah mate, nothing to worry about..., With the amount of people coming, If you get stuck we could all just lift and carry your car to safety:D
But yeah, unless you drive full speed straight into the sea without stopping you have nothing to worry about:)

For me, I'm using "Perth" just as a figure of speech. As you know I live south of the river and would be happy to meet anyone along the Kwinana Freeway, say around Thomas Rd like the place Alex mentioned earlier.

I'm definitely keen on coming during the day on saturday.
I have little to no fishing gear tho.. i was thinking off having a handline off a kayak but thats a little anti-social!

Any sandboarding areas there? or someone could tow me ;)

I'll be taking my gas cooker and bbqing some goodies for lunch i reckon..

Like you Mr Top Hat im a bit worried about the sea eating my pride n joy and i havent done much beach driving in it other than esperance.. but you can ride a bike on the beach down there! It will be awesome having some good back up mates around though :D

Looking forward to it guys..
