Sadly had my 1991 L Series Sportswagon written off in an accident last month. Absolutely gutted, especially as I wasn't at fault.
I loved it for 12 years, paid $7k for it and after putting another 200,000kms onto it the insurer paid me out $3k. That's value motoring.
Now on the look for something to replace it's reliability and durability.
I think I'll look for a forester, max budget is $10k, prefer a little cheaper.
Is there any specific models I could be looking for? Common problems to watch out for?
I have come across this forester in the trading post.

Hi Tim 13
Car looks good a bit over priced i think, you can get a GT for that if you aren't in a hurry take your time a Forester or Outback will come along for a better price. Be Patient
I to owned an l-series got a Forester now i think it's a great car
If you are taking it off road a bit the 2l engine has the better low range than the 2.5l great on fuel too.
