ECU tuning

Post by Kralle » Thu Nov 18, 2010 9:13 am

Hello,
some of you know that i converted a carby to a turbo l-series.
At the moment the engine runs with 1,3 Bar Boost(think about 200hp). my problem is that i need a other ecu unit, or is there any other way to get more fuele injected?
Piggyback ecu? but where to buy and how to connect with the l-series ecu?

thanks for some answer guys, i go for 300hp :D

the things i will do in next time is

spider intake,
3inch exhaust,
fan-type exhaust
head porting
piston rot lighten
flywheel lighten

Its a bit rough but I have seen people run a fifth injector on a simple pressure switch to come on under boost.

Another way would be to raise the fuel pressure using a adjustable FPR but also dodgy as you can't tune it properly!

The best option is a aftermarket ECU but I am not sure if you would want to spent that much money on a ea82, If you do buy one that will also run a ej engine!
