You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

This car is built to perfection, you only have to look at how the crossbred brake kits are built to see how much of a perfectionist bratgeebah (Gareth) is. Nothing is done by halves, braking, handling and power delivery. If I didn't have two brumbies I'd pay the price.

The last converted brumby i remember seeing had an STi conversion and they were asking 16,000? Then there is the lifted one going for 24,000. I think this will sell for 8,000, obviously nowhere near what it cost to build. I love the EJ25D in my L series, packaged with the brakes and suspension in this one it must be awesome.

sand in the veeegggee is irritating...

i'll take comfort, economy and reliablity over a turbo anyday :)

plus a turbo makes alex very very VERY irresponsible.

theres a reason i lost my license after about 3 weeks of turbo wanky wagon haha.

I think the price is reasonable because of the amount of work done to it, but he'll have a hard time selling it to the right person.

Not really for what it is - there is the odd brumby that goes for $8G in really good nick over here!

It is. Gee took me for a fang in it up and down his road in the Dandenong Ranges - while it was wet! I shit my pants and felt the skin on my face move backwards through first and second gears. It also sticks to the road like glue even in the wet - I was expecting it to slide off the road sideways but it didn't let go even while pulling 80km/h around a recommended 40km/h hairpin IN THE WET. I was gob smacked.

It is well worth the money for what it is and was well setup when I saw it before Gee made the sale.

If people know what it is they'll jump on it! I'll be texting Gee about its sale if he doesn't already know about it.

Cheers
