Im assuming that Centrafuse is a program you install on a mobile pc for playing music and video in your car.
The ECU is either up beside the steering column or under the carpet in the front of the passenger side foot well
OBDII wasnt introduced into non turbo Subaru's in Australia until about 2003 (i think turbo models got it around 1998 ) Before that it was just SSM (subaru select monitor) which is a Subaru based data code based on TTL serial data transmission.

It's located under the carpet on passgener's footwell. And it doesn't have OBDII

You might need to pull up further, its under a floor of metal that is bolted down to protect the ECU.. the wires runs towards the right towards transmission tunnel.monkers wrote:where exactly under the carpet is it? i pulled up the front part under the dash and there didnt appear to be any plugs. also what kind of plug am i looking for, im pretty new to this, my skills are more computer based, and theres not a lot of information straight up on SSM
