Hi all.
My mates L/H CV Joint is knackered and asked me if I could have a crack at replacing it.
I am going to replace the whole shaft instead of just the joint (his shaft looks pretty old and worn).
I have never done a subie CV & Shaft before and was wondering if there was any guides around the net ?
Thanks alot.

should be thousands of guides for most cars.
it is best to change the full shaft, for many reasons
we only do full shafts cause its so expensive doing half shafts

Yeah mate its pretty easy ay. I find it easiest to take the whole steering knuckle off but i did do my wheel bearings at the same time. I have had trouble lining up the hole that the pin goes through at the gearbox.. call me dodgy but i used the big split pin you should get with the shaft
have fun!!
ps. from memory 10, 14 and 17mm sockets/spanners, a hammer, punch maybe a pry bar should get you through it..
