New Project 1994 Liberty Wagon EJ20T Conversion

Post by Oldtimer » Sun Apr 25, 2010 12:00 am

I have recently become the owner of a 1994 liberty wagon with an ej20 turbo conversion. It appears to be 99% stock, the only mods are the front mount and taccy pod with airflow metre. It is a FWD. Its currently running 4psi. I plan to service and flash tune it this week and see what it can do...before i start spending money on it i would love to hear some suggestions for mods.

Hey Oldtimer.. Welcome to AUSubaru and just for your info, if you post at 10pm at night then you're unlikely to get a response by 6:25am the next morning.. Most of us do sleep.

As for your car.. well if it's Front Wheel Drive then I'd look at changing it to All Wheel Drive asap, as you'll have to buy lots of spare gearboxes. Also if the car is only running 4psi then it sounds like there is some other issues that are causing the car to run in limp mode. I would try and find a Subaru Specialist nearby to check over it for you.

I'd look at getting this done before doing any mods.

I didnt realise the time at which i re-posted this morning. I had already been out had a coffee read the paper and thought it was later. i've been mulling it around in my head and I think that if i do the AWD conversion I will do an EJ25 conversion at the same time.

Nether the less, what are some good avenues for sourcing parts for the AWD conversion?
