Looking for a non Dealer Subaru workshop

Post by ChrisGWarp » Tue Apr 06, 2010 3:31 pm

Hi All.

I'm in Melbourne.

Can anyone recommend a decent non-dealer (and preferably not at dealer workshop rates) workshop?

A friend of mine uses BM(W?)Tech in canterbury for their BMW. They live, eat and breathe BMW's.

I'm looking for something similar for Subaru's.

I have a MY02 Liberty Sedan, nothing special. Just looking for a place to do normal servicing etc, but with local subaru specific knowledge etc.

Hope someone can help.

Ta.

-Chris

Beachside Automotive in seaford specialise in Subaru and Hyundai. I took my car there until I started doing all the work myself, however I still source parts there and have often called on them for advice when stuck. they're always busy, so I guess that's a good sign?

9783 5838 Luke is the owner and it is just him and a young fella named brendan.

Cheers,
Owen.

Seabrook is Point Cook?

I dont take any of my Subarus to mechanics, but ive seen a few Subarus going to HTR Automotive in Ravenhall (Deer Park) they generally tune all cars even high performance cars (currently they are doing up gen 4 Liberty into high performance.)
Otherwise, there is Volksbaru in Airport West as they specialise in Subaru and VW...

Cheers

Hi Again.

The whitepages lists Volksbaru in Dandenong.

Volks Baru Parts Centre Pty Ltd
(03) 9793 5655

A number for the Airport West mob would be greatly appreciated if you have it.

I used Volksrepair for years on my VWs, untill I shifted to the bush for a while and did all my own work.

They were excellent to deal with.
