under a strangers GLTA bonnet....

Seen a same as mine around the last few years a few times and spoken to owner (as if his was a turbo), and finally got to look under the bonnet. Not what I expected .... a carby EA82. The owner has never known it as turbo - came in this trim when he got it. Was in a workshop getting a cooling system pressure test. I sort of wondered why he never gave it any stick on the road - now I know why !
