For the ones that are lucky to have foxtel (sorry if you dont) Foxtel started a new chanel about 2 months ago Turbo Max, chanel 634 and 635. It's all about things that have motors in them.
On sunday nights a show called Chop shop is on, thay find a cheep car and chop it up and put a big engine in it and make some kind of super car out of it.
This week thay took a mid 80's Golf GTI and cut the hole front off at the firewall and have put what looks like a 2000 WRX engine gearbox the hole front frame and all the running gear front and rear in it.
Thay took it for a test run and the look on there face, well you could just tell that this car is a freak.
This thay hope to finish all the body work and paint it.
Rik.

yep watched with great interest the guys who put the cars togehter are pains in the arse but sometimes the cars are great like this one
and yes it is a wrx ej20 turbo motor, running gear and front end welded to a golf GTi body
(some times foxtel is good but other times watching re runs of cartoons from 30-60 years ago sucks)

Good show Chop Shop. Always giving me ideas. There was also another show with a guy drifting a WRX around a circuit that was amazing. Can't think of the name now though.
But yeah my TV is always on that turbo channel until a re-run comes on
