Sway bar link upgrade after lift?

Post by SuBaRiNo » Sat Dec 26, 2009 11:18 pm

I have an 01 GT forester with a 2 inch suspension block lift. (not the complete kit that drops the running gear)

I have had the lift fitted for maybe 6 months now and have noticed im begining to get some knocks from under the car. Having inspected the Sway bar linkages the bushes are not looking too good which i assume is the cause of the noise.

My question is... due to the extra strain on these links from the lift kit... should i be upgrading these at this point or just swapping out the bushes?

In other words... should i get something like this

or this

OR some sort of sway bar link extension. Do these exist? What do they look like? Any pics?

I removed my rear sway bar completely after my lift and have had no issue with the front.
Have considered making longer links though because their is a little bind.

I have an 01 Forester with a 2" strut lift and i run MRT alloy rear swaybar links with no problems. I tried no swaybar but it drove like a boat
