Brumby Fuel Tank

Post by Tozzy » Fri Oct 16, 2009 8:20 pm

I may need to take out my fuel tank from my 89 Brumby. I think it has crap in in it as it was standing on my mates farm for 6 years before I got it.

I recon that's whats causing the fuel starving.

The manual say's I must take out the diff to take out the tank.

Anyone taken out a tank and how hard is it to clean out?

diff is only a few bolts and then it sort of twists out of the inner DOJs. Look inside an empty tank from the rear fitted tank sender unit to see if it has crap. Blow your steel lines clean with compresed air nozzle.
