How many is too many ??????

Post by subiwidow » Tue Mar 07, 2006 6:48 am

It has come to the point that I can not look out a window of my house without having a Subaru in sight.
On Saturday we managed to bring the numbers down by Eddie taking his ute home. This gave us 9.5 cars. (One car has no engine bay.) Only to go and buy milk on Sunday, and come home with a coupe and milk. 10.5. Than we get a phone call Sunday nght to say he has a gear box, but it comes in the form of a car. He wants it, probably this week end. 11.5. Than on Friday we are getting 3 front cuts delivered. Yes i said 3, we can't just have 1. Heaven forbid. 13. That is a record for us. We were at 12 at Christmas. And we had a clear out than. I know I like Subies, but this is getting crazy.

The owners of these cars are as follows....
Brett.......SEVEN POINT BLOODY FIVE no suprise there
Me...........ONE typical
Tonelle.....One has licence
Renee.......Two no licence yet
Jake.........One no licence and just claimed the vortx.
F-In-Law...One his car is hear cause he has already filled his house block. It runs in the family.
Dave.........Half.

I might send him on a fishing weekend, and have a clear out.

dunno I have 3.
sherpa - project I have had for 7 yrs now.
Justy - bought it with the intention of repairing it.
wagon- bought for a daily driver

justy runs like a top needs panel repair
sherpa is in bits
wagon - intact with blown headgastket (which I'll remedy next week!)

to be honest every time I go to the local yards there is usually one I want to adopt!

seems to be an addiction :)

I have my MY 84 EJ Tourer in progress, my 85 Sherpa which I have basically just swapped for an 84 Justy, as such Project JuSTI has replaced project Super Sherpa, and my 83 MY wagon which is awaiting lift kit and big tyres.

Plus the Rubasu which is currently in the process of being stripped.

On our 1/4 acre house block we have 6 cars + 1 caravan parked out the back. 2 RX Turbos and a dead MY wagon. The halfcut I got rid of about 2 months ago :)

On our 1/4 acre house block we have 6 cars + 1 caravan parked out the back.
If you want to add non-cars, we also have a boat, 2 camper vans, 1 ours, 1 baby sitting, 2 trailors, and a borrowed one, so that makes 3, and 2 ride on mowers.
The biggest pain, is when you have to mow, you have to tow all but 4 cars.
What a nightmare.
