Hi guys,
This seems a little silly, but I am having trouble removing the globe from my front left hand blinker that is surrounded by the bull bar.
The bull bar is the common 'Irvin' brand found on most Brumbys.
Because the bolts that hold the blinker in place have corroded and wont release the blinker, I cant seem to get proper access to the rear of the blinker because of the bullbar.
Has anyone had this problem and does it mean I have to remove the whole front bumper to change a globe? Would appreciate any suggestions.
Also, can anyone recommend a good/honest Subaru mechanic to work on the Brumby, in Perth?
Thanks

If its a screw that's rounded out you could drill the head off to get the blinker cover off - then take to the rest of it with a pair of pliers. If its a bolt like you said, I've got no idea where that would be...
If you're worried about damaging anything, its probabily best to take the bull bar off - two bolts on each side in the mud guard against the chassis rail. There may be a bolt on the back of each end on the bull bar to keep the front panel neatly against the bullbar.
Good luck with it.
Cheers
