Munsters on the loose...

Post by last celtic warrior » Sat Nov 22, 2008 3:35 pm

Herman Munster (AKA Charlie Horne) saved me a spot beside the Munster Coach Thursday night at Maccas. This beast has been around for a few years now and it was originally built to run in the Variety Bash, although it's had a bit of use since then, mostly ferrying people to highschool formals.

I still love the timber work on this machine and it's lasted very well too.

Hahahaha - love it!!

I am a big fan of the old shows and loved the Munsters. I preferred Grandpa's ride and it sounded like the gods had touched down. Something that I think is getting revived - good to see!:)

Brings back memories! I've known Charlie for ages now, used to race speedway with his sons, my first car was their old ke10 corolla. Amazing build on that thing, and all he used as reference was a very old roughly A4 sized poster that somebody dug up. He's made some other great cars for the bash, first it was the dinosaurs mobile (remember that show?), then the Flintstones car made from a VW thing, then it was the Beverly hillbillies and finally the munster mobile. The last was definitely the best though
