Tribeca motor into SVX ...

Post by Bantum » Mon Oct 21, 2024 5:00 am

Fiend of mine has been dabbling in Tribeca's & has found it has the perfect replacement engine for the SVX, it so happens that the Tribeca is a good fit replacement for the motor, & possibly other parts may also be of use. More info to be had ...

That’s interesting. I’ll be keen to see the difference/similarities with the exhaust ports.

I say this because one H6, that I can’t remember which one it was exactly, has Siamese exhaust ports and the other single ports for each cylinder.

For a drop in type compatibility, the would be important for the SVX’s exhaust manifold setup too.

I’d image the Tribeca blocks could take the SVX heads much like the interchangeability that the EJ series enjoys - fingers crossed (not that I reckon I’ll ever be doing this).

Cheers
