I honestly don't know how you drew this with sketchup, I struggled to find enough shapes to draw my welding cart  Fantastic work, really professional looking.

Only problem I can see is the bed being too small practicality wise, after seeing an XV up close and personal, the distance from the front doors to the tailgate would make for a very small rear tray especially with the rear wheel stored in there and the fuel tank. Perhaps a longer wheelbase is needed?
Will it ever end!?

Thanks ... Coming from a drawing background it's not too hard + I've cheated a bit by copying & pasting ... ;)

Yep, I've covered that with the OutBack Ute version ... :D

The whole intent was for the XV-Ute to be a small, economical utility ute ...
& that it could be considered as a successor to the Brumby ... ;)

Bugger that! They're leaving behind a sector that they filled quite well some time ago. It's about time they lived up to the name of the brumby again with a newer modern take on the same little brute ute they produced back then - but it still has to be functional and not all out luxury/safety orientated.

Bantum, could you knock up a long wheel base 4 door version for those family orientated drivers out there these days? Could also be another angle for this ute - but better than the Baja due to the longer wheel base and the rear wheel being situated in the middle of the carry/load bed.

Cheers
