Thanks Bumpty ...

Although I'm sorry to say that I haven't got any thing new to add - as I've been laid up for a bit with back surgery ... :(

Don't know when I'll get back to this, so will keep you posted ... ;)

Ciao, Bantum ...

No worries mate. You focus on recovering before messing around again ;)

All the best with the recovery ;)

A few more genuine looking leaflets such as an options list, pricing, purchase contrac and newspaper ads and Bantum will be ready to hack into subaru.com.au :)

Or we all quietly distribute them to the front counter of every dealer we can get them to.

Then wait for the public pressure to force Subaru into a new small ute production run

If Fuji was to use the line that they have steered away from industrial/agricultural vehicles maybe suggest they do not need them mixing in a show room with their current line up - the online sales approach with their other car that does not fit with the "All4the driver" theme - the 2 wheel drive two door that looks like a Supra ! It sold OK out of the show rooms didn't it (even if it was in Toyota show rooms where it sold like hotcakes

Yeah mate the vid worked for me (from bookface link!).

If subaru are worried about going back to the agricultural thing, I'm sure they can offer two specs of the vehicle - vinyl floor and one with carpet - keep all the other mod-cons ;)

I don't see why this can't be a goer - there's got to be a world wide market out there for a ute like this!

Cheers

Progress ...

Post by Bantum » Mon Dec 29, 2014 10:07 pm

Sorry I'm still working on the Pamphlet, but I did manage to get the model printed on some 300 gsm card today ... :)

So I began cutting it out when I got home & have been at it all day - Still got some bugs to sort out as I found a few 'fitting issues' in putting it together, so will have to update the file & when I've finished that I'll post the PDF up on here.

Wow man you've gone all out on this thing! :) I like it! Got any demo models to show us the paper kit works? I would absolutely make one if our printer didn't keep spewing out messages saying the ink has run out  Question; would you have the data for this model in DXF form? The outside lines of all the parts I mean. Some of them are pretty complex and I know someone with a laser cutter ;)

*Edit* Oh I see, A3 card stock required, $2 at a printing shop. I could see a thread on this; "Show us yer XV ute models"
Will it ever end!?
-EA81 TWIN CARB!!!!
-L series 5 speed
-Custom paint job
-2" lift
-Full custom re-wire
-L series front end

Yep - I'm still working on that ... :)

I've been snapping away while building mine & have nearly completed it + I will post 'em up as soon as I've finished ... ;) ( it will be a few days away yet )

Yes I can get a DXF done up for you, will advise when done.
