Yeah thanks Bennie ...
The side steps & steering wheel were a 'find' from some 'picking' session near Ipswich. It's same wheel as I have in the touring wagon, so got it for spares + looks ok, so might clean it up & put it in the brumby for something different ...
Re clusters - I must have just missed out on a few 1/2 dozen or so to date - as they keep selling them before I can even get a bid in ...
Do keep an eye out & give us a heads up if you come across some, as I'm not the only one who's looking for 'em ...

Strait steering ...
Also took this home to clean up :
It does need to have some repair work done ( suffering from the usual Oz sun damage ) Not 100% sure how to fix that yet, any suggestions ?
Add : Yes will be getting a 'stichup' leather cover for this, more to come on that when it arrives ...

Not so ...
Yeah - I just checked & it's from a Leone Sedan 2wd, so no 4wd light - doh ...
It does have the lights on the back for it, no writing on the Telltale ( graphic monitor ) though.
Easy enough to fix, just need to print out some text ...
Some more pictures :
P.S. - What Colour were the 4wd Telltales ? ( Green comes to mind )
Oh well - Win some, Lose some ...

Broken ...
So when I was taking apart the new Analogue dash I thought I could hear something rattling around inside, so when I eventually dug out all the loose bits I found this :
Don't know how long it's been like that, some time I'd say ...
Add : F*ck knows how it got like that too ... !
So got to cleaning it up & stuck it back together :
Will be interesting to see if it holds :
If not I'll be looking for another one I guess ...

Numbers game ...
So while I'm here, what should I wind these babies to ?
Thinking they should match the same mileage from what is currently showing on the old one ...
+ cleaned up some of the other gauges :
I should be getting some time to work on removing the old dash over the Christmas period to swap these over ...

Ouch! I knew those plastic backing whatsits would be brittle, is that one for the speedo? to find a replacement would be about as hard as finding the analogue dash to begin with!
I'm going to wind my clock round to what the original car was showing when I took it off the road, just for continuity
