Yep, on it - Doesn't help that google keeps randomising the links, sometimes it takes several goes of coping one bit of 'code' for it to stick ... :/

Working now!

That rust is in a really odd place! I’ve not seen it there before. Bugger about the door too...

Get onto that rust. Bain of my existence

Cheers

Progress is progress, slow and steady ;) Might be time to invest in a little MIG welder and start practicing on some junk panels to repair that rust. As these things get older we might have to move toward repairing rather than replacing certain items...

Re: Rust & Doors ...

Yer I'm goin' to have to strip the car to get at it - not looking forward to that. Also got to find somewhere to do it ... :/

On a brighter note, have managed to pick up a good left door :

And gave it a good clean :

And a lick of paint :

I should stop reading your thread mate, I’m starting to feel like I’m inadequately looking after my brumby :(

Keep up the good effort!

What’s the location of rust in the roof Bantum? Asking as Sunnie the Brumby is showing signs of rust from behind the panel work just above the seam to the roof in the top of the B pillar on the LHS. Frustrating!!

Can’t wait to have a shed to get it sorted.

Usual places around windscreen,

Left side gutter under T-Top,

& other places yet to be seen - most likely under A pillar sill ...

Ah crap mate, bloody painful! Makes Sunnie the Brumby and Redback look like a bit of a walk in the park in comparison :o

Did you end up finding a space for your shipping containers?

Are you keen to learn how to weld? ;) Going to need it with those rust issues, I'll say it doesn't actually look that bad to me. You can still get away with small patch panels nothing too crazy.
