Anyway,

Little update on the Impreza. Not much has been happening! lol. Mainly due to exams.

Got a wrecking sedan impreza a few days ago and started to swap over the good better parts.. Its now has much newer and nicer door trims. They just need a good clean.

Also she started to overheat when stuck in traffic. So i got ride of the greenish redish water and replaced it with new coolant and a new thermostat. hasn't overheated yet:)

Been doing some thinking....  H6....:D Lol I wish. would be cool.

Nan, I'm on the lookout for a forester at the auction, So i can get the 2ltr and the better gearbox. On another note, would anyone know if the ej18 manifold ports are the same as the ej20 or maybe ej25. It would be so much easier just to swap the long motor over...

Its a shame that the car is manual windows and that there is a big dent on the body. My only regrets:(

Little upgrade for the impreza, Might be a bit of an over kill, lol. But had got them for the vortex, but since i sold that and they were sitting in the shed, i figured why not. Maybe with time i'll get a bigger engine:)

How does the door trims match up to the dash??

I know the early dash kinda wraps into the door trim but the later ones are flush. IMO that would look kinda weird

Its ok, from what i can read on pwrx, the problem is when you put a later dash with the early door trims. there a extrusion on the early door trims that interfere and hit with the later dash. but putting the later door trim with the early dash works and a non subaru fan won't be able to tell..

Maybe i'll swap the dash over one day...

Harsh. I'm glad the thread is updated though, I guess the fiori has really taken the place of the impreza :p

I wonder what go faster bits KPM has lying around for that little beast...

Me too mate! Especially when it's exactly what you've been looking for in terms of the same problem etc and there's no answer

The comment was because no one had asked if the car was still for sale.. so to post that it was "long sold" was pointless and I was only pulling the piss out of Guyph. He knows me very well, so it's just harmless fun.

I understand the need to finish off threads, if they are about issues with cars.. not just that it was sold.. as this was not a "for sale" ad, then it really didn't need it.

Sorry

And I caught me a big one. No need to be sorry! That didn't take as long as I thought it would :p
