Hi Maxxair,
Was looking on ebay and found this
On one side
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/EZRUN-V2-600 ... 3a619a84b6
And on the other
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/eZRun-5-5T-K ... 2a115461c2
and
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/30A-Brushles ... 25664977ce
Lets say i get the cheap set that comes to $45
Would that be better than the factory kyosho engine ive got?
I'm not going to enter any competition or anything but just want to be competitive if the WA boys ever get together someday to race them:)

Nah, dont buy that ESC, its for a plane, and has no heatsink. as for the motor, go straight to the source, hobbyking. get a motor, esc and lipo in one hit.
It will be 50 times better than the stock motor. 50! you wont be dissapointed by the speed and power.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... r_6T_.html << stupid fast
any of these....

http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... 1_12_.html
2s (7.4v) lipo battery. get a few plugs and bits and peices too. and a charger.
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/stor ... oved_.html
also get a cheap 2.4Ghz radio system. way better than the old crystal ones.
My chassis is a Tamiya TB-01 which has been long since discontined, but i chose, because it has metal diffs and driveline. besides the spur gears, which keep melting or tearing the centers out, and the driveshafts that keep breaking, and the wheels that the center twists out of, and the axels that shear off, its one tough car. good times. (get a slower motor than the 9000... )
