As it's the rally version, it would only be a 2 door sti as the 22B didn't fit WRC regs.

Good luck keeping up with Paul's!

And it's a double fake 22b then - fake being small and fake with not really being a 22b model...

Cheers

Well wait no longer Guy.. nice price for a R/C car. Good luck keeping up :)

But to clear it up for others.. the model is of the WRC version of the Subaru Impreza. The WRC is like the 22B in the fact that it has the 'pumped' guards but the WRC was only 2.0ltr for homoligation. The 22B was release as a tribute to Subaru involvement in the rally championship and due to it having the EJ22 Turbo (DOHC) engine it's not able to be raced under rally regs. The same body panels were fitted to the 2 doors STi shells, then built into WRC cars but that's a close to the WRC cars as the 22B will get to them.

BTW Guy.. this model will probably go as fast as your L when completed

Was looking at motors what would be the difference between a

4.5T KV 7300 Brushless Motor

and a

17.5T KV 2400 Brushless Motor

Whats the T and KV?

The 'T' is in relation to the old Turns of wire on a brushed motor, and is irrelevant.
The 'KV' is what you need, and is 'Revs per Volt' the higher, the faster.
Make sure u get a motor for a 1/10 sacale, or a '540' size. theyll all fit.
Castle Creations Mamba Max motors and ESC are unreal, and can be had upto 9000KV.
You can get cheaper ones from china, but are only about 2/3 to 1/2 the price. and not as good.
illd recomend against the 9000, i have it, and love it, but its stupid fast... ridiculously fast... TOO fast. It justs rips the tires from the rims, so i got faom tyres, which went well, but when it crashes, it crashes HARD. its really useless. FUN, but useless.

to get the most from the motor, you will want to run a LiPo Lithium Polymer battery. you need a Lipo charger too. Hobbyking.com is the best place for batteries and charger. you'll geta battery for 25, and a charger for about the same.

i have a few RC's Nitro and now electric. Electric is better in every respect.

So to Clarify, 2400Kv x 7.4Volts = 17760rpm
Where as ,7300Kv x 7.4Volts = 54020rpm

this is at the motor of course
