DESTINATION: Bellthorpe Conondale Loop

DATE: Sat 20th September

TRIP LEADER: Yarney 0404459610

MEETING PLACE: BP Caboolture (Northbound) Bruce Highway

TIME: 8am to leave 8.30am (all day trip finishing after sunset)

RATING: Medium (lifted Cars recommended – due to unknown condition of tracks expect vehicles to likely have pinstriping from lantana

DISTANCE: 200 km

FUEL: Fill up before leaving BP

WATER: No

DOMESTIC ANIMALS: No

PERMITS REQUIRED: No

RECOVERY GEAR: Yes

ACTIVITIES PLANNED: Head to Mt Kilcoy follow tracks do some exploring of the forest. Then through Bellthorpe and Conondale national park tracks could be rutted and slippery. Coming out Near Kenilworth it will be a late day/evening, don’t expect to be home before dark. Possible Pub dinner somewhere.

Thanks for the pics Bantum, looked like a fun day except for the minor scratches, which we can all do without unless we have a true bush basher.

Looks like a fun day out! Where there any major scratches? I find the Brumby/MY platform is great for navigating scratchy tracks as they're so narrow :mrgreen: compared to modern fourbies.

We had to get out the garden shears a few times to clear the track - no major damage that I know of ...
