DIRECTIONS: Southbound LHS Gateway -- Leaving 7 am -- PH. Rik Close 0415 628 662

SOUTHSIDE MEETING PLACE: BP Travel Centre Stapleton EXIT 38
DIRECTIONS: Southbound LHS Pacific Hwy
TIME: 8 am

RATING: Easy

DISTANCE: 250 km Round Trip

FUEL: Available

WATER: Available

DOMESTIC ANIMALS: No

PERMITS REQUIRED: No

ACTIVITIES PLANNED: This is a remembrance drive for Dave Gibbo. Where else would he like to be in amongst Subaru parts, We will Visit Currumbin (Subaru) Wreckers for a tour, Bring your money they will open just for this us Then Drive Through The Gold Coast Hinterland to Purlingbrooke Falls (for Lunch) then Natural Bridge and The Hinze Dam

WHAT TO BRING: Lunch

RECOVERY GEAR: Required On All 4WD Trips

Hi Jan, I'm hoping to make this trip. Quick question though, I think it may be exit 38 not 41 as shown. Can you confirm. Cheers Pawl.

I must stress this part was of the trip was an addon, I couldn't pass it up (Tigger) ;)

Beechmont, small track at Canungra,fun and slippery :twisted:(On the last photo),Canungra, O'Rielly's, Duck Creek Rd fun on the side bit:twisted:, Beaudesert Maccas
Had a bit of fun but didn't take my camera:( Tigger will have some footage for sure;) i dare say there will be some of me letting out some smoke out of my tryes:grin:

Thanks Jan,

I thought we'd done a few twists & turns in there ( couldn't keep up with no sun to follow ), was totally lost by the end there ... :rolleyes:

I'd love to try a tarmac rally section around the Hinz Dam someday, as there are some great twisty sections there ... :D ( would need to be on closed road though )

Was a great day :D I think Gibbo would have loved it, especially the mud at the end :)

I do have some footage that I will put together and upload soon :) Not too many photos unfortunately, mostly videos :)
