Cooling fans staying on.

Any thing and every thing ever asked about how to do an EJ conversion to an L series and MY. Includes Brumby and Coupe.

The Brumby heater tap either directs coolant through the heater core or back to the thermostat housing. It doesn't turn the flow off. Using the heater tap turned "off" is pretty much the same as an EJ heater plumbing with the exception that small amount of coolant isn't cooled through the core.

I still don't have the engine back in due to a little issue with missing detent components on the transfer case. Hopefully this weekend.

Just an update. I replaced the thermostat with a 182f which is 83c, similar to the Brumby one. I got a new thermo switch. Now it's working exactly as it should, with the exception that maybe the fans aren't cooling quite as quickly as the large factory one do. I'll find out in the hotter weather if they'll be suitable I suppose.

Gave it a cut and wax today. Changed the oil to some fresh penrite full synth. Scraped overspray off all the glass. Made some small adjustments to the low range lever adaption to solve a reverse/low range clash.

Also swapped the 14"wheels back on the Lib so I can sell them separately.

Well they're not scorpions or desert rats - and they have the factory offset.

Look like a set of 14 inch sunnies to me. I don't know who made them, but that's what I've known them as.

Cheers
