Not yet - but two things come to mind, speedo & fuel gauges - they should be relatively easy to hook, up as long as they are calibrated suitably with matching hardware ... ;)

Cheers, Bantum ...

Do you have an FSM for the year/s that the analogue dash was produced that would be the easiest way to find out what wire goes where.

the 1983 FSM here has the digital dash pin out / schematic but it looks like the analogue dash pin out / schematic has been redacted :(

It shouldn't be any different to wiring in an L series dash.

After wiring is done you should have:
- permanent power
- back up power
- oil pressure/warning light
- fuel pump
- tacho reference
- ing on
- start reference

And I think that's it. These wires will need to have the relevant wires found and connected. That's where the trick is.

If you don't have a pin out diagram pulling the dash apart would be the most effective way to find and trace what you need. Write down what you find as you go for future reference.

It's not as difficult as you think - just a wiry mess as you do it!

Cheers

I have melded my analogue dash/loom with the EJ22 loom in my ongoing Brumby conversion.
I had the 22's loom professionally pruned by AMauto electricians up the sunny coast, and then blended it with the dash loom myself. I stripped off all the cover tape of the dash loom to trace and or add wires as needed.
I also incorporated a Liberty engine bay fuse box into the mix, which now sits sexily between the battery and shock tower.
One thing I still have to do is mount the oil pressure sender unit on a post under the alternator (in place of the basic low pressure only sender)
Other than that, it is all but finished in the wiring department but have not yet tested its functional capabilities :-(
Until then, I am hoping that when I turn the radio down, it doesn't also dim the headlights, or if I beep the horn, the windscreen washer squirts!! lol
Do you have anything specific you want to know Tony?

FYI, I don't know if its the same with the MYs, but the L series gauge for the coolant temp is a different range to the EJ sender. And they're different sizes :/
There are 2 temp sensors, one for the ECU (multiple pins) & one for the dash (single pin).

I modded (drilled & retapped) the coolant passage where the sender goes to fit the L version. Or find somewhere else to fit your original sender.

If you get the dash make sure you get everything-
IE crashpad, instrument surround, vents, wiring etc.
Found that out the hard way, cluster by itself is no good!

???? He's trying to make sure that his existing cluster works with the new engine.
Why the need for the rest of the stuff?

Because we assume that the coupe's "sports" dash is going into a brumby.

You can't just put the 6 gauge analogue cluster into a regular brumby dashboard - it simply doesn't fit without the matching dashboard.

It'll be mint once it's done mate ;)
