Hmm.. what are your plans to do???

There are EJ engines and your better off getting Gen 2 EJ22 over Gen 1, but again not much difference because they're widely available, EJ20 is slightly harder than EJ22.... Depends what wrecker you go to and your friends with them etc then you can score yourself a good deal..

I got my latest one as a half cut BG5 from ichibahn.
EJ20h tt

These motors have better flowing heads and cams then the stock wrx ones
being JDM model it had 206kw in twin turbo

Converted it to single turbo td05g with extractors.
Will be putting a front mount IC
then getting it tuned. Only has the stock WAIC so i can only run about 12psi with out inlet temps going through the roof.

I ended up using the RS liberty intake (slightly shorter in height so did not have to space cross member) and loom to integrate into existing conversion.
So many optioins not enough time or money:confused:

i havent got plans at the moment
toonga was on the right track.
just a post maybe make it sticky. to tell people the engine they want and where they can get it.
if you want major power you could look up and find a EJ20TT and then go yep i need to find a liberty rs or whatever to get the engine

I got my EJ22 from a liberty at Pick a Part. Half price too...

Generally:

Impreza = EJ20
Impreza WRX = EJ20 turbo
Liberty = EJ22
Outback = EJ20 (?) EJ25
Forester = EJ20, EJ25

Hope that helps. Someone correct me if I'm wrong as I'm only going by what I've read on the forum and seen on the street.

Cheers
