Subie Boys Gen 2 Tidy Up

Post by rtcb65 » Sun Dec 23, 2012 11:13 am

OOPS ... THE TITLE SHOULD READ GEN 3 .

As there is only Ross and myself now , we dont do the fancy stuff. So instead , we tidy up cars for people. Could say we are now the Subie Boy2 .

A friend of ours picked up a Gen 3 and we said we would give it a tidy up for him. This is the result..

We got it delivered to our place and started by giving it a good wash all over.

The Engine needed to be riped out and repaired. The usual head gasket problem.

I'm looking forward to the next chapter in this subi's story!

Sorry to hear there's only two of you now. I guess all good things come to an end...

Cheers

As you say Bennie, things come to an end. But i am to passionate about subaru's to give up on them. Plus not doing it would drive us nuts.

Hey Paul, More pics to come. The wow factor was Steve, the easiest way to put it, he needed more than we were willing to give.

We were lucky with this Gen 3. Most of the fancy stuff was already on it. Subextreme front and rear bars. 2 inch lift kit.

While waiting for the body deadner mixed with fish oil to dry, we went to our local wrecker to pick up a few items. Better roof linning, bits and pieces that were brocken and better door trims.

Hey Mate,

Have a better look at the paint pic ( masked up one). You will see paint on the top of the masked area , which should tell you the answer to you question. Lol.
