Bennie, I am a very happy boy indeed. The paint looks really really good after the Subie boys hard work and considerable skills. Fingers crossed in the next couple of days the outside will be done so we can post some picks all in one go. Have had a chance to come up and [s]help out[/s] get in the way a few days up there. Rick and Ross have a freakish ability to remember the exact, nut bolt, plastic fitting for every little hole in an MY, while Steves metallurgy skills are just scary.

Notice the custom mounts for the top of the OME shocks in the back? Legend has it, that Steve chewed up a barbecue plate with his own teeth to make those. :D

Yes you should. That way you only have to send the pics once . only to image shack( or what ever one you use ) , instead of to me and who ever else you send them to , if any one else. LOL.
I should but no time to do it at the moment, to busy painting and what not, way easier to email. :) But if you have time feel free i won't stop you :)

Here's hoping . The front bar is now finished. 4 hours sanding the clear back to get it nice a smooth as well as masking up to put the flat black on , for the anti glare ( head lights reflecting back at you from the bull bar ) . Then fitted it out and mounted it.

Hey Lovely, are you SURE you really want to scratch that??

That bar is looking awesome! As is what I can see of the rest of the brumby.

Lovely, I don't know which pic you're talking about with the rear OEM mounts... Got a post #?

Cheers

It looks bloody awesome. The rate this is going I am going to have to turn into one of these yuppies that owns a 4x4 but never goes off road. I dont want to scratch her.

Thanks mate, the one photo that isn't working for me tonight, but I have seen it previously.

And thanks for the page number, but it's no good to me, I see 13 pages and have post #481 to #507 in view... Something I set up when I first joined ;) But this only occurs when I'm logged in ;)

Sorry for the side shoot!

Cheers

If you want that decal on the tailgate that says 1800 4wd, a guy in america sells them on ebay. 2000 4wd and 2200 4wd as well.

Thanks for that Brumby Kid, but we do our own decals. There's a few people selling original style and modified decals on eBay now. Some are overpriced, some are bargains. Thankfully we don't need to resort to that, and wait ages for them to be delivered...

On top of that, the ones available online are not armour glazed like ours are (anti vandalism coating).

Hey Foghorn,

Welcome to the forum. As for the cost, the cost is only for parts only , and a couple of dollars here and there to put towards power . We are doing it labour free. Cost to this point , ( Eg , today ) should be around $ 7,300 . Still a few costs to come yet. Mainly little costs here and there. Eg. bolts that broke when removing due to rust, clamps that were the same, thinners and prepsol and sand paper for the small paint jobs such as the front bumper that was just finished, any plugs , tape , clips etc for any electrical work still to be done. Yep, it never seems to end.

Answer 1/ It is just a 4000 lb winch off ebay.

Answer 2/ It better work properly . The other one did that we put on a wagon.

Answer 3/ It is custom made here by Steve . He says. People could not afford them.
