Picked up a few more items today. The steel to start making the winch bar and the paint. Also started rubbing the body back for the final coats of under coat to go on.

In between me moving house , we have got heaps of hours up block sanding the body back and double and triple checking for any thing that is just not right with the body , and fixing anything that is not right, before laying down the last coats of dark tinted under coat. The color coat requires a dark under coat.

Also the winch bar is started.

The rear bumper is now sprayed ( not that you can see it , the paint is almost pure flake ) and ready to fit out. The number plate lights are sprayed and ready to fit once clear coat dries .

Brake lines are now in . Rerouted standard fuel pump power cables as the fuel pump is on the other side now. Also looking at , where to run the EJ 22's wiring loom.

Done some shopping to day, picked up all the oils for across the brumby. Also re-foamed the blower( fan for the heater ) and fitted it up. Last thing , but not the least, made up a plug , to shape the area for the engine computer to sit.

Looking good. It will be nice to drive it and have the air going where it is supposed to and the temp that is suppose to have. Aircon and power steering will be magic.

One more step further along with the winch bar. Rerouted another wire from one side of the engine bay to the other since the battery is now on the other side ( just have to put it in to some flex tube to make it look better ) . Also made up a secondary fuse box for any power to be drawn from, Eg : alarm, central locking, stereo, power mirrors, etc or anything that requires mains permanent power.

Hay Rick, when's the paint going on that Brumby???

Im not trying to tell you how to do things, but It's looking like the whole car will be back together without the paint.

SO When is the big day??

OH, and the front winch bar is looking good as with all you guy's work.

Rik.
