Im not trying to tell you how to do things, but It's looking like the whole car will be back together without the paint.

SO When is the big day??

OH, and the front winch bar is looking good as with all you guy's work.

Rik.
Hey Rik,

If you mean , that the lights and grill are in , They are only sitting there the lines for the winch bar. We are waiting till the last moment possible to lay the paint on. Waiting for any and all mods ( Eg : winch bar , etc ) to be done so no damage can be done to the paint work.

Not quite sure what you mean by open a museum, unless you mean to show all that can be done, and what we can do to a subaru. Unless you mean , a place for us ,, only one problem ,,, we are rednecks ,,, not dinosaurs YET.....LOL.

Well Rick, for a bunch of rednecks - once again you do an awesome job! I'm sure you've read between the lines many times but I'm very jealous and would love you guys to do Sunnie the Brumby - unfortunately we don't have the funds :( And I realise your subi's need some work too.

You know the old saying about a good mechanic? He's the one with the dodgiest car in town ;)

Cheers

That's it for the undercoat . All items are now coated with up to 6 coats( Minus what was sanded off ). The only reason we would need to put any more on, would be if the car got scratched or if during the final rub back, there was a rub through.

WOW! Looks like you blokes took the original Ally replacement bar for a swim at a nuclear power plant and out came that bad boy! I officially name this replacement bar the "Hulk Bar" because it looks like the old one got angry and transformed lol!

Cheers

Chris

P.S. How heavy is this monster truck bar going to be roughly? Heavy enough to need to worry about front end suspension with the winch also?

Nah mate, a pair of spritely sparrows could carry it "on wing"... It won't be real heavy at all, as it's really just there to scare away potential accidents. It'll do it's job.

With out the ability at the moment to get the pictures of my phone , to post up, i can only do a write up about it .

The vacuum/electric switches are now mounted in there spot , on a new mount and bolted in. Drilled holes and tapped.

Drivers side of the winch bar is 2/3 made up now.

Once i can get the pics off the phone i will post them up.

Ecu is now mounted up in the dash and the 2.2 harness is run through the fire wall in a spot to suit the ecu to engine.
