My latest acquisition a 1979 4WD Wagon (my first Gen 1 wagon) made it to its new home in the Blue Mountains NSW from Bacchus Marsh in VIC on Monday. Overall I’m very happy with the Purchase for $500.

Apart from the almost standard cracked dash the interior is mint. It is a genuine barn find as it has been parked in a shed for many years since apparently blowing a head gasket. Engine is seized but, I have a spare EA71 sitting on the shelf. I’ll add to the thread as I play with her.

Nice (for a GEN1 :) )

Eek! What is that thing in the background ?

Willy is singular, more than one is Willies ? Or is that possessive Willies...think it is more obsessive possessive :D :p disorder

Why not just leave it, whack a coupla grand on it and shove it on ebay.co.uk and flush Giles out :) ?

It's an EK Holden I got for $10 on ebay.

Yes glad you picked up on that, you didn't think I could be this silly with just one Willy?

I was thinking of chucking on some black Sunraysias with chrome dress rims, a set of unequal length headers with a nice muffler and re jetting the Hitachi....... What do you reckon £5500 on ebay UK?

Who did you use to transport it from Vic to Blue Mountains?
I used to live in Hazelbrook along railway parade, I'm pretty sure you popped in once to pick up some suby parts.

Wow mate, that is super clean! Must have been a grandma's vehicle, garaged all it's life with the generally dry Baccus Marsh weather conditions doing the other part of the caring...

You should've dropped in on your way past - either in Shepp or Cobaw, you would've been pretty close to both locations in your travels!

Has Giles sent you a PM with an offer yet?

Cheers

On 13-Jun-14 at 19:03:09 AEST, seller added the following information:

Will only go for min $600 or won't sell just so you know. It is a very neat car so less than that I will shoot at it for fun!

Yeah Bennie, I couldn't believe how good the interior is.
I didn't go down on this trip, my dad picked it up for me. Still to pick up the Brumby from Ballarat in a few weeks but that's another story...... Will probably late on a friday night. I'll let you know if it's a reasonable hour.

True - but would his dad really want to??

I thought Willy may have been riding shotgun or borrowing the truck for the trip ;)

Cheers
