Yer I'm hearing you.
Bunnings and Gasweld are pretty close together and are both close to me about 3km by road and I pass them on my way to and from work.

Wanted to do some blasting on the other side of the wagon today but didn't happen because I wanted to get a white guard from B3 but discovered it was rusted out.
I have a red guard origunaly from B1 which is dinted so painted it saturn white from a pressure pack, rough yer I know but the rest of the car is faded so who cares, I just didn't like patchwork pannels.

Sunny looks pretty neat Bennie

Trivia quiz.
How many pressure packs does it take to paint the external surface of a front Brumby/wagon guard.

How many coats? For one coat to paint the front 1/4 panel it should use less than Hal a can I reckon.
I desperately need an air compressor and a gun, getting sick of pressure pack cans.

Nah it must take more than that, I used up 1.5 cans of primer covering up where my old stripes used to be...I'd say little over 2 cans for the guard? I'm just going to bite the bullet and save up for a paint shop to do it

I used 3/4 of a can but that was all I had, some spots were a little darker so i recon you could get away with 1 can with tree coats. If it was white on white or Beige, one can would be heaps.

When buying an old bush basher the common consensus was, one can of 3 dollar paint per panel :) and maybe 2 for the roof.

still plugging away.
should have most done by end of tomorrow except the worst bit, which is the drivers side rear. I blased it on the weekend and it looks like swis cheese.
I am going to have to cut a chunk out and either rebuild it or cut a piece from another wagon and weld it in.

yer. I have welded the inside in but it was tricky to line up.
Once lined up it was point, pull the trigger, weave then stop for a few seconds, then start the cycle again. Got it in and it is structualy sound but the high spots had to be ground off the welds.

Have made a template and cut the sheet for the channell support and may get a chance tomorrow to weld and bend it into shape.
