purp, that would be backward, this way it travels same way it would when a whole thing and lights all fit and shine correct way, speaking of way , how heavy this baby work out to be ? under 249 kg . Be extra cool if you hook up reverse lights :D

Awesome effort mate!

Now to find a brumby that's got a twisted front end but a decent rear end and do the same!

I hope you and your family are proud of your efforts! If you weren't putting the canopy on it would you consider removing the glass for less drag?

Another question - will the glass be strong enough to hold up to a stone or a small bird? With a paint job like that you might want to look into one of those 4wd trailer stone guards!

Cheers

Bennie

not sure of the weight yet steptoe.

Bennie, yes if I wasen't fitting a canopy I would probably remove the window.
Don't know about a stone but it is glass, It does withstand a fair bit though as I put a hammer on it pretty hard by accident while working on it.
the glass will be shielded by the tool box a little from stones coming off the back wheels.
What sort of stone guard do you mean.

have you seen the stone guards on camper trailers at the draw bar end, some are sheet metal, others are shade cloth stuff....

Looks brilliant mate, good to see you've left the door trimming on there lol and the door latches will be a good strong tie down point if ever needed.

My guess is 390kg

steptoe, Nah but I will try to take more notice.

D Gen, thanks. yer found some old seam liners. yer I thought the same about the door latches so left them there.
Just sprayed the tool box bars and brushed some paint on the plywood liners for the toolbox, The liners are to protect the alluminm from being dinted on the inside.
Should get the box on the drawbar tomorrow.

I will try to get it on flat ground to put some scales under it.

Hey my camper has one of those too

My camper trailer doesn't, but it is on the list. The front of the trailer has some pretty obvious stone chips, and list time out a couple of pretty decent rock hit the back window pretty hard (presumably after being kicked up by the wheels the. Bouncing off the front of the trailer). Which is the other reason for one of these.

Hehe thats so cool:) Looks SO photoshopped:p
Love it!!!!

But:s, Would it be better if it was closer? Not sure if its just me but looks to me it would look better if the triangle arms were shorter and got the tray trailer closer? Maybe its just from the pic.

But anyway, This is SOOOO cool:) love the sig pic:p

P.s, its missing a roll bar...
