Hi all,
Looking at buying a 98 subaru sportwagon. Is there any non obvious things to look for before buy a car.
I really like the shape of the old style.
Cheers

Hi and Welcome to AUSubaru
When you say 98 Sportswagon, I guess you're talking about the Impreza hatch? These are a great little car and really don't have any major issues. Main thing is to look at their service history, as this will show how the car has been looked after or not.
They come in both auto and manual, so depends on what your preferences are. Most of those now will have high kms, so it will be hard to find one with low kms but don't be too scared off by high kms, sometimes this means the car does lots of long runs, which is a lot better than short city trips all the time.

You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.
