Hello from NSW

Post by outback » Wed Oct 23, 2013 6:46 am

Hello all..
I Brought my first ever Subaru, a 2001 Outback Limited..
I have had it for about a year now and it has 149000ks on the clock..
But it seems a head gasket is on it's way out..
So I was going to sell it and get a Brumby ute..

No ute so I'll be fixing the big job up.. lol
Anyway I just found this forum so I thought I'd pop in and say hello..
I'll put some photos up a bit later..
Plus I'll be asking a few questions..

Hi and Welcome outback

Congrats on buying a Outback and once you get it fixed, I'm sure the NSW boys would love to see it out and about in it.

The EJ25 is probably the most problem child for the Subaru but saying this, they are still very easy to work on and if you have some skills with spanners, then you're sure to get it sorted. AUSubaru is a great place to pick peoples brains, so nothing is too big.

Maybe one day you'll have a second car and lets hope it's your dream Brumby ;)

Nice pics and looked like a very good camping spot. Brekkie looked fantastic :)

How's the Outback going? any more head gasket issues?
