				Hey all you Subi fans,
I am new so I thought I'd introduce myself (and my cars).
I am 22 and hail from and reside in Yeppoon, near Rockhampton in Queensland and am very interested to know if any other subi fans on this forum are from this area.
I own two registered Subarus at the moment, my prize car is "Ellie"; my fully restored 1990 L series (will post pics up in future). My spare car is a beaten up 1983 MY series running 14" tyres. I also still have my old '84 Brumby plugging around the property as a farm ute and my '84 MY Leone sedan is soon to be rebuilt for offroading

. I also own many old wrecked Subi's I picked up for cheap to be spares for my car and am on the lookout for a 1st Gen Liberty as a donor car for the Leone.
That's about it, I will be asking bulk questions on the forum in the future and will answer any I know

.
Cheers,
Lincoln

				Hi and welcome Lincoln

You have a very good collection for a 22yo. What got you started in Subarus?
Oh and +1 for the pics

Thanks all, was not expecting this warm of a welcome, loving the member status suggestion

Thanks for asking RSR, I first bought my 84' Leone off my best mate's brother for $500 when I was 18 with the intention to use it as a bush basher. I did bash it for a couple of weeks until I realised that even under such abuse it hadn't missed a single beat or even shown any signs of real degradation (unlike all my previous bush bashers), so therefore I set about restoring it to roadworthy condition with the help of my father who very quickly into the piece was shocked and delighted by how simple (and easy to work on) the construction of the little Subi was. Ever since then I have found so many more benefits of these wonderful cars and have never looked back.

Cheers,
Lincoln
P.S. Holy f****** s*** to the Murtaya RSR, awesome to know there is one in AUS

Subarucollectimania is a very additive disease that has effected most of us on here

Love the story and one we hear about all the time when someone buys a subi for the first time.
Thanks for the.. umm.. kind words on Murtie. The blue one in the pics is in the UK but our first one is one it's way to being completed.
