Heres my delima,

My old sony cd headset has 4 outputs l&r front and rear
My kenwood eq only has 2 inputs l&r and 6 outs l&r front rear and subwoofer.

Ill be using 2 amps one 4ch for the 4 speakers and a bridged 4ch for the sub.

Any ideas on how to get the eq in there? or should I just forget about it, I wanted the eq because the amps are going to be hard to get too (under the front seats) for tweaking.

I was thinking of just hooking it up to the either front or rear channels then fading the head set to the rear, but would this mean im missing sounds that go to to the other channels?

Would a 2 into 1 rca adapter work?

Anyway here's what ive done

Thanks

The fronts and rears will be feeding the same signals, the only differences are left to right, as long as you have one set of left and right feeding into your EQ you'll be right.

Then just feed everything from the EQ to the amps.

Thanks I was hoping something like that ws the case. I wasnt sure if the headunit would process the signal to seperate front from the rear. I used to get different sounds out the speakers from the back than the front, but It could be different speaker types and size.

Sweet i'll also put a 3.5mm stereo jack and switch in between the headunit and eq, then i can run a mp3 player or my pda.
